Throughout the year, Abbie had been watching as photos were being shared of friends who had all had photo shoots with their horses. She was keen to book a shoot with her gorgeous Irish Draught x Arab, Sky, and join in the fun, so she invited me back to West House Farm to do so. This was my 15th photo shoot at West House Farm and every time I go back, I always receive such a warm welcome and have a great time – so I was really excited for their shoot!
Equally as excited, Abbie had been messaging me in the lead up to her shoot, talking me through her outfit ideas. She had spent a lot of time studying the inspiration pack in the Client Area of my website and decided to go for the casual but well-coordinated look! Her red coat matched the stitching on her brown jods and her country boots completed the outfit perfectly. Sky was pampered and all set to go when I arrived too – with her sparkly bridle adding a touch of bling!
Abbie was keen to not only get some black background photos, but also the round the yard bonding shots, as it’s not often you get those snaps that capture the precious memories you make with your horse on a daily basis. They had such a sweet bond between the two of them – so this made my job very easy! Although Abbie said Sky can be quite spooky, when Abbie was by her side she was so relaxed - we even required a rustle of the red umbrella to get her ears forwards by the end!
Thank you for inviting me back, I loved photographing the two of you and cannot wait to see what you both get up to in the future!
