Lauren was gifted a photo shoot voucher from her mum, Louise, at Christmas. Having grown out of her pony Quest and making the tough decision to sell, they couldn’t let him go without getting some precious photos to remember him by – after all, he is a very special part of their life!
Quest and Lauren have had many happy years of games together – not only have they competed successfully, but in that time, they have grown such a strong bond which was evident throughout their shoot. He was a pony in a million, happy for Lauren to lie down in the garden as he grazed alongside with the sun on his back and the birds singing in the background – it was such a peaceful scene!
Dressed in a crop top, jeans and long country boots, Lauren looked so casual and beautiful, her long hair blowing gently in the breeze. Quest had been well scrubbed for the day too and really looked the part. The two of them were so natural in front of the camera, and with the beautiful scenery their farm had on offer, I was totally spoilt for photo opportunities!
We picked out a number of backdrops for some in hand bonding photos before Lauren showed off her fantastic vaulting skills and hopped on board for some mounted photos. Riding through the crop fields and cantering bareback in the open fields – they really were a dream pair to photograph!
Thank you for inviting me along to your gorgeous place – I hope these photos give you lots of happy memories to look back on over the years to come, and I look forward to hopefully coming back in the future to meet more of your four legged family!
