On Wednesday afternoon I met with Tony and Judith at Seaton Sluice for some fun at the beach with Bess and Bonnie! I have previously had the pleasure of drawing both dogs for Judith, but this time I got to know them much better during our adventure to the coast! Judith had booked a shoot with the dogs as a present for her husband Tony after she enjoyed a shoot last year with Winston.
We made our way down onto the sand and Bess and Bonnie were in their element! Judith told me how Bess has been flying up the grades in her agility training and she was certainly showing off during her shoot. After capturing some posed photos by the dunes, we edged further down to the shore for some action shots of the dogs playing. Bonnie might have been the quickest dog I have photographed to date, which made the action shots all that more fun.
The two of them had a good jump and play for the ball, before we braved the sea and took them for a good run through the waves. I don’t know who was having more fun – Bess and Bonnie playing, or me capturing them. They were like two little Duracell batteries and could have gone on forever. We rounded up the shoot with some photos of all four of them going for a stroll back up the beach - a successful day of play had been had by all!
What wonderful characters they both are – I bet they slept well that night. Thank you for having me back Judith!
