After my shoots that morning with Gemma, Scott and Kiera, my final shoot that day was with Kiera’s sister, Krista. Krista had been at the yard all morning bathing Tango’s white socks, and didn’t she get them sparkling! Krista has owned her first horse Tango for a couple of years now, but unfortunately due to injury he is just able to quietly hack at the moment. Joining us for the shoot was four-year-old Blaze, who belongs to a friend on the yard and has done bits of schooling since being backed.
We started our shoot capturing some of those ever so popular studio-like black background images of the two of them, before we made our way out and about to make the most of the scenery. Using the long track with hedges either side and overhanging trees – we had a gorgeous backdrop for some individual bonding photos, and some group photos with the two horses.
To round up the shoot, Krista then hopped on board each horse to round up the shoot with some mounted photos down the track. With lots of coat shine spray, she had to hold very tight to not slip off the side!
Thank you for joining me for a shoot and introducing me to your two gorgeous boys. I hope you have lots of fun times ahead of you getting Blaze out and about on new adventures!
