I arrived at Hall Farm on a beautiful afternoon in September to meet up with Rachael, her gorgeous cob Tonto, and adorable shih tzu Bailey. On my arrival, Tonto was just finishing up with his shower and was looking sparkling clean and ready to go!
Rachael has owned 6 year old Tonto for 2 years now, however due to studying to become an accountant, she was struggling to give Tonto the time she felt he deserved, so had made the tough decision to sell him. It was really important for me to capture the beautiful bond the two of them so she had some precious memories to treasure!
We started in the barn where we were able to use the dark background to capture those very popular studio-like black background images, before making our way out and about for some scenic backdrops. The lane created such a gorgeous setting for some group shots with Bailey, then we walked across the stubble field where we were able to capture some more photos with each of them in front of the Hall.
We rounded up the shoot with Rachael sitting by Tonto in the stubble fields, with a beautiful rainbow in the background as it started to drizzle!
Thank you for trusting me to capture those precious moments with Tonto before he made his way to his new home. I hope he settles in well and these photos give you memories to treasure for years to come!
