After a busy morning of shoots in Plessey Woods, I had a quick lunch, then met up with Julie back at our yard for her shoot with Bailey. Julie had been gifted a voucher by Pauline, who had enjoyed a couple of photo shoots with her precious boy Billy before he went to his retirement home. With Bailey having the most gorgeous bright chestnut coat, we decided to wait till Autumn for their shoot – the colours complimented her beautifully!
Julie booked a little additional time as was keen to capture some studio-like black background images using the dark barn at the yard, before making our way down the road to Plessey for the remainder of our shoot. Dressed in jeans, a black top, a grey blazer and long country boots, Julie really knew how to put an outfit together – she looked ever so classy!
With overhanging trees, long country paths, bridges, gates and water, we are never stuck for scenery in Plessey Woods! Julie was ever so photogenic, and Bailey had so much presence about her – they looked like they had just stepped out a catalogue, making my job as photographer a dream. Of course, I couldn’t forget the help behind the scenes from Julie’s mum, who held and carried a bag of goodies to help along the way.
Down at the bottom end of Plessey, we rounded up our shoot using the beautiful reflections created by the still water. Julie hopped on board to finish the shoot with some mounted photos of them riding through and making a splash – I just love all the photos, picking some favourites to share with you has been a real struggle!
I hope you like your photos as much as I have enjoyed capturing and editing them – thanks again for trusting me to capture some special memories with you both!
