I had a lovely time when I met up with Molly, Terri and Cochise at Todburn for their photo shoot. Molly has ridden since she was just 4 years old, having had ponies while growing up, she has now owned 16 year old Cochise for the past two years. In this time, they have developed the most beautiful bond - which made photographing the two of them an absolute joy! After a bit of a rough start when Cochise broke his splint bone in the field, a year down the line he is now back in full work and they made their debut BE outing!
We had a pretty autumnal afternoon and the perfect setting for our shoot. The sun was coming down in the sky creating some beautiful light for us to play with. With the warm tones of the Autumn leaves and the red tones in Cochise’s skewbald coat, everything tied in beautifully with Molly’s very classy outfit choices. Molly was dressed in jeans and a shirt coupled with her Dubarrys and accessorised with a scarf to pull the look together – she looked so stylish!
We captured some black background images in the barn, before making our way down the road for the out and about bonding photos with the very scenic backdrops and views on offer! Cochise was a dream throughout, he had such a lovely nature, and Molly was a real natural in front of the camera. To round up the shoot, Molly hopped on board for some mounted shots down the lane with the low sun peeking through the trees!
Thank you for inviting me to photograph the two of you – I hope you enjoyed your shoot as much as I did!
